Adam French

Adam started playing soccer at the age of 4 / 5 (U5) in the UK with Bostall Rangers Football Club of the Kent & London Borough District League.  During his time with the club he progressed from a timid left back to a confident left forward.

At 12 years old he was in Spain playing for San Fulgencio FC, until one day after one bad tackle he tore his Achilles tendon.  He  was left unable to play for almost a year. I returned gradually but it wasn't the same for while. His chance to trial for Elche CF was over.  This pretty much destroyed his playing career.  In Europe 12-14 years old is basically cut off point "you've got it or you haven't".  He continued with the school team winning a few 7v7 Futsal tournaments and playing in the local 11v11 League until he was 14.

At15 years old he played for San Fulgencio Men's (Amateur's league) for 18 months before returning to the UK.  From the age of 19-25 he played for various Sunday league teams on and off over the 6 years around the UK.

His last game was for Belgrade FC (Wolverhampton) where his team won the Final of our local cup. That was his last competitive involvement as a player. Once he returned to the UK he told himself that he would pursue a career in coaching once I had matured. He never imagined would find myself in the US, but here he is now.  He is looking to pursue his childhood dream of being involved in football at the highest level possible. " Every player I work with will have my upmost commitment .   l'm looking forward to helping the younger players achieve their goals. They have my confidence and belief." Adam French is enter his first year of coaching with CUSC
